

Name: Jungle Booking Platform Redesign
Primary Purpose: The purpose of this project aimed to transform the client’s activity listing platform, “Jungle,” into a comprehensive booking system. We analyzed the fragmented user experience and set objectives to integrate seamless booking and payment flows. This led to designing intuitive user interfaces for both mobile and desktop, covering the user journey from activity discovery to secure payment and booking confirmation, fulfilling the client’s need for in-house transactions.

The “Jungle” platform, while serving as a directory for children’s activities and summer camps, suffered from a critical usability gap: the absence of integrated in-house booking and payment options. This forced parents to navigate away from the platform to complete transactions, leading to a fragmented and inefficient user journey, potential user drop-off, and ultimately hindering the platform’s ability to offer a truly seamless and comprehensive service for parents seeking to enroll their children in activities.

The primary challenge in redesigning the “Jungle” platform was transforming it from a mere listing directory into a fully functional, integrated booking and payment system. This involved overcoming the existing pain points of a fragmented user journey, where parents were forced to leave the platform for transactions, leading to potential drop-offs and a lack of a cohesive, secure, and centralized booking experience.


Our solution involved a comprehensive UI/UX redesign that transformed “Jungle” into an all-in-one platform for parents. We implemented a seamless, in-house booking and payment system, allowing users to discover activities, view detailed information, add selections to a cart, and complete secure transactions without ever leaving the site. Furthermore, we developed a personalized user profile and dashboard for managing bookings, along with an intuitive checkout process and clear confirmation screens, ensuring a cohesive, efficient, and trustworthy experience from start to finish across both mobile and desktop interfaces.

To establish the style guide, we strategically chose a vibrant palette with varying shades of green as the primary color and a complementary shade of yellow. The greens evoke a sense of nature, growth, and tranquility, perfectly aligning with the “Jungle” theme and conveying a fresh, energetic, and safe environment for children’s activities. The complementary yellow is used as an accent, strategically highlighting calls to action, important information, and adding a touch of playfulness and warmth, ensuring a visually engaging and intuitive user experience that resonates with both parents and the playful spirit of childhood.

The redesign successfully implemented an integrated in-house booking and payment system, eliminating external redirects and streamlining transactions. We crafted a cohesive user journey from discovery to secure checkout and booking management. The new design now offers a seamless and intuitive experience for parents across all devices. Utilizing a vibrant green and yellow palette, the platform is visually appealing and trustworthy. These achievements position “Jungle” for increased user engagement and higher conversion rates.

This strategic overhaul not only meets the client’s core requirements but also significantly enhances user satisfaction and positions “Jungle” for greater engagement and business growth in the competitive market of children’s enrichment.
